Lining/underlining poly “taffeta” floor length sheath gown

cooperdoodle | Posted in Fabric Guidance on

I am making a floor length sheath out of a poly “taffeta”-like fabric that has one way (length) stretch.  I’ve made this sheath in wool flannel before and had a good experience with underlining it and lining with Bemberg rayon.  I’d like use the same construction methods but don’t know what kind of underling and lining fabrics to look for, and would appreciate any suggestions.
