   what is the style? capes usually have ties, hooks, or buttons, either decorative or subtle.
   i wouldn't trust a maganetic closure on a cape. if you want invisible, try a concealed large hook and eye. i used to own a vintage opera cape (victorian), and all the closures were the sturdy oversized hooks that are still available. the wire was completely wrapped in durable thread, which gave it a snug feel when latched.
