Minott Method

Cherrypops | Posted in General Discussion on

Gloria,

Recently you wrote about the Minott Method.

I have searched the messages here….. A few very messages dated 1999 referred members to sewingworld.com – – Does this still exist? I have found http://artisanssquare.com/sg/index.php

I found this blog; http://stitchesandseams.blogspot.com/2008/01/full-inner-thigh-alterations.html . . second picture is the Minott Method.

patternreview website/forum also discusses Sewingworld and Minott Method.

Thanks so much for the links, Anna Maree.  I did find Debbie's post last week & printed out all the info, as it should work for me (I have the exact same wrinkles in the back of my pants as she did), so I'll see what works.  I thought it was ages ago that I was looking for the Minott method - how time flies, eh?  :)  Again, thanks so much - you truly find everything (information) that everyone needs - & we all appreciate it!

Is your winter finally settling in?  I have relatives in Perth who were able to wear shorts & play golf until just a few weeks ago until it finally became winter there.

would you direct me to Debbie's post, was it here or on another site, I'd like to read it?

yes, it is cold, snow out west at Orange. and of course down south. lovely blue sky but chilly winds today. I'm more a spring/summer person.

It's on the Artisan Square link that you posted.  Good information there.  Debbie has quite a few postings on her blog/website - I think I found her originally under 'Debbie's Projects" when she was showing her full bust alterations, but she may have changed her website to Artisan Square.  Unfortunately, I didn't take the time to explore that site & see what all was on it.  I'll get back to it when I have more time.

        Keep warm & keep smiling.

        Gloria
