Missoni copy?

crumbhaven | Posted in General Discussion on

I’m inspired to try creating a Missoni type cardigan, but the trouble is, I’ve never actually had my hands on a Missoni, just seen pictures on the web. There’s some great Missoni fabric available, but what about seams? Serged? French? and typical Missoni cardigans have a v-neck with fairly heavy solid color ribbing on the button hole placket, hem and cuffs. Where to find good quality ribbing (not cotton interlock)? Do you think it would be possible to cast on and simply handknit the edging? TIA
