Monster paper

Lorene | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

Anybody know a source for the pattern drafting paper from Sweden called Monster paper? (There’s actually a double dot over the letter
“o” which I can’t reproduce)

Mönster paper. Use your character map. Keystroke=Alt 0246.

Other than that, sorry, I can't help you.

Nancy's Notions has Swedish Tracing Paper, which I believe is what you're looking for.

Thanks. I'm sure that's it. I'll be ordering it today.

Mönster is pattern in Swedish. It would be less confusing if the name was just translated! I got some from Nancy's notions, it is great.

Swedish tracing papers is also available at http://www.dimplesfabric.com/Items/Notions/tracing_papers.htm

I prefer nonwoven interfacing (the cheapest roll version I can find at the discount store) since it has just a little more drape than the paper in case I decide I need to pin baste for fit.
