My all time favorite series of articles were those that focused on specific couture designers. I love the variety of design techniques.
I’m always altering (for fit) and design. I took one flat pattern drafting course many years ago. I mostly use it to take patterns from readymade clothes that fit me well. But it has definitely opened up sewing for me.
I also love Delicious Details.
The back covers are also a favorite.

I agree. My all time favorite was the article on Vionnet and her bias draping methods. These designers have a fabulous wealth of experience. I think it is terrific that we can learn from them.
