Dear all
I forgot to ask in my last post about what threads are best for a serger. I want to start with the ones that are easy to use.

I use both the cone threads and the spool threads, usually the cone threads in the loopers and the machine threads in the needles. The only advice I have is not to use the cheap threads that you can buy out of the bins for 3 for a $1.00 - they'll break and drive you nuts. I've found that buying the best quality threads works best for the serger.

Dear Sue
Thanks for the advice. I have been told by several people beside you to avoid cheap thread. I certainly will. That idea of using cones in the loopers is helpful. That will help with the cost.
