    Welcome Betty,
So glad you joined - it's always great to have another talented person on this site. Would you mind posting a picture (if you can & want to) of your quilt top? I love batiks & quilting, too.

    Hello BettyJ,

Welcome, thank you for filling in your profile. It helps us get to know each other.

I would love to see a photo of your quilt.

On this site there is a specific gallery for photos. You may like to post there or if you prefer start a new topic in the Quilting and Home Decor Discussion. Other ladies discuss many aspects of this type of work here, and if you could help out it would be greatly appreciated.

There is also a Knitting and Crotchet Disscusion, you may be needed there too.

Have a poke around the site. Enjoy reading.

    Hi BettyJ,

We are the same age. I turned 51 in December. I like to knit, but I haven't made anything but scarfs and one hat. My grandmother taught me to knit and she helped me with a vest back in the seventies. They were very popular back then. I couldn't have done it without her, though. Maybe you will help me, when I get stuck on a knitting problem. Welcome.
