Hello, everyone. I’m a first-time poster here. Been sewing on and off most of my life. Mostly I sew clothing for myself since I’m a large person with less than satisfactory fit from ready-to-wear. I also have a fabulous group of girl friends who get together and sew about once a month… we call it sewing camp. It’s a very important part of my sewing life.
Three years ago my husand and I retired and became fulltime RVers so I no longer attend sewing camp one day a month. Now when I go back home, we do a 4 or 5 day sewing camp and as others in the group retire, we hold sewing camps in different parts of the country when we are able.
I carry my sewing machine and small stash of fabric with me and I have removed the dinnette in our motorhome to create a sewing space.
I hope to learn and share with this group to keep my sewing focus going.
I look forward to “meeting” everyone.
