November Challenge

karenchrist | Posted in General Discussion on

Finish coat that I originally planned for a red fox collar that I inherited from my aunt. I found another piece of fabric that I think will look better with the collars, so I changed my mind and will put a fake-fur collar on the original fabric instead. Finish two more knit hats for Christmas gifts. Cut the old blue jeans into squares for a quilt. Finish a blouse started in June and a quilt started in March. Wish me luck. karenchrist

Sounds wonderful, I wanted to make a jean quilt, but never got around to it.  Maybe in December.

All of your projects sounds great, please send pics in the photo gallery when completed.  I would love to see them.

You are a busy gal!  Good luck on completing your projects!  Now what will you do with the fox collar?  (Maybe you could attatch a binding and hidden buttons to it so it is removable when the item is cleaned.)

If I like the coat when it is done, I have a fabric that will match the collar better and I will make the coat again. Then I will have had practice and will be better at the pattern.

I hope it works out well for you!  Happy sewing.  Mary
