Pants hem with original topstitching

user-210344 | Posted in General Discussion on

Hi, I had a question regarding pants hems, particularly jeans.  I’ve seen some tailor shops advertising that they hem jeans and leave the original topstitching on them.  I’ve figured that they are doing some type of blind hem stitch underneath.  Could anyone clarify the steps to this technique?

Do a search in this forum using "Hemming Jeans" and I think you'll find a good description of what you want.
