Has anyone bought extra serger feet for Pfaff 4874? Would you recommend them?

i don't own a Pfaff - I own an elna and i find that in addition to the regular foot a ruffle or shirring foot is REALLY great to have. I use it alot.

thanks, i was considering the shirring foot
I have the same machine and am wondering the same thing! Anxiously awaiting replies. I'm sure you've probably seen this site, but it's videos of all the feet doin their jobs http://www.sewingmachine-sales.co.uk/sewing_machine_info/video/45/gathering-foot-plastic.html
And I suppose we could search all the msgs of the Pfaff group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pfaff_Sergers/ and find some answers. It's a pretty quiet group, but lately it seems more active.
Thanks, yes I have seen those videos from UK. Great site
I have an Elna Coverlock that also takes Pfaff feet. I have the adjustable binder that you can check out in the link that has already been posted on this thread. It accepts many sizes of binding.
I suggest to see if you can find the Pfaff Overlock Campaign Kit. It is a kit with 3 feet, containing the adjustable blind hem foot, ruffling/shirring foot and band and braiding foot. A book comes in the kit that tells how to use and feet and set up your serger for each. These feet are multi purpose especially the adjustable blind hem foot that I found can put in tiny piping better than my sewing machines. Besides blind hemming you can use this foot for projects that need very accurate serging.
thanks, I have taken up your suggestion to buy the feet collection, now I just need time to play
Wow, were you able to find the Pfaff kit of 3 feet? I understand they are now rather hard to find. If so, I think you will enjoy the set. Have fun.
