Pleater Hooks – Where are they?

Freda_Evans | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

In preparation for making my own curtains, I went ahead and bought my material. But when I asked for pleater hooks, I was told that they weren’t carried anymore. I use the 4″ pleater hooks and tape.

I have searched everywhere. JoAnns (formerly Cloth World) doesn’t carry them any more. Have you any idea of where I might find them? I only need 25. Thanks for your help.

I have some if you can use them...the prongs measure 3 1/4 inches. Do you have the tape? I can't help you out there. I haven't counted, but there should be 25 . I also have some of the smaller 2 1/2 inch ones if anyone is interested. E-mail me if you are interested.

After a little searching on the web, I found this site that offers the 3 1/2" tape.. Item # 5011....

*Fabricland also carries them. Also, take a look at stores that specialize in curtains and drapes, such as Marburns, and stores that specialize in interior decorating fabrics.

*Also, check your local thrift store...mine has boxes of hooks for next to nothing.
