Print fabric using your design

almost | Posted in General Discussion on

I just learned about the most amazing company called Spoonflower….they print your designs onto fabric!!  Oh my gosh….the possibilities are endless!!  They are a little pricey but hey for that special project, it may well be worth it versus other alternatives.

Anyway, I just had to tell everyone about this exciting resource for our creativity!

Here is their link – http://www.spoonflower.com

Thank you! I enjoyed looking at the site and it certainly does make me want to create something. Who knows...if I ever get some of my present projects out of the way I might actually do it! Thanks again. Oh, one thing I couldn't find was the width of the fabric. Did you happen to find that?

Ralphetta - They mention in the blogs (I think) that it's standard quilting size - 44" wide. Don't know about the "upholstery grade sateen", though. If you've registered for membership (free and easy), you can write directly to the blogs and suggest that info be added to the home page. They're VERY new (since May this year), and still finding bugs and oversights, but seem like great folks to deal with! Have fun!Kharmin

WOW that was fun.... playing with the samples  and the repeats realling knocks home the possibilities!

Thanks for sharing another gem Kharmin!

Glad y'all're having fun, but I didn't do it!! "Almost" posted the original link - I just spend too much time noodling around, exploring "Look, a chicken!" type sites (anything that catches my eye, and promises a diversion from the pile of "but, I don't wanna!" projects). LOLKharmin

The FAQ pages state the upholstery sateen is 50 inches wide. Other fabrics are available on a limited time basis as they become available. This is such a neat site... Cathy
