Source for Drapery velvet

nisee | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

Hi, I’m looking for an on line source for Drapery width velvet.  This is a small project but Brown cotton velvet comes in pretty pricey at our local fabric store.  Can anyone help.  thanks.

Hi, this is the first time Ive posted anything on here but feel I can help so here goes.

I live in Yorkshire in the UK and we have a mill locally which makes and supplies velvet worldwide.  I have recently visited it an bought red velvet to make a father christmas outfit for my grandson.  They make and supply all kinds of superb velvet which can be used for curtains, upholstery as well as dressmaking.  They are called Denholme Velvets and they have a website of the same name.  They do mail order and list worldwide agents on their site.  Good Luck.
