Straighten a Warped Cutting Board

watching | Posted in Equipment and Supplies on

I warped my cutting board with heat from my iron. Does anybody know a way to get it flattened out again?

    Here's a possibility.

Take it outside to the trunk of your car.  Lay it as flat as possible (upside down if that helps) and put a few heavy objects on top.  Close the trunk, park the car in the sun, and wait a few hours.  It should "remelt" the plastic to a flatter shape.

Incidentally, I use the trunk of my car for proofing yeast breads.  Draft free, warm, and no bugs:)
