Conversational Threads

threads index

Deeom | Posted in General Discussion on

I seem to be getting senile.  I have been to the Threads Index before, but now I can’t find it.  I have no idea what I am doing wrong.  I even searched in past discussions hoping something would come up.  No luck.  Thought I found it once, but it turned out to be a quilting page.  Please give me explicit instructions.  I need them.

The index is all over the place, accessible from a number of starting points. Click on MAGAZINE in the red bar at the top of this page and a drop-down number of options appear, click on "index".Go directly to threadsmagazine.com and scroll down until at the left side you will see "index".

I clicked on magazine at the top of the page and got a page called Magazine Extras.  There was no drop down menue and I still haven't seen the button for Threads Index.  I put in Threads.com and get a long list of sites where I can subscribe to Threads Magazine.  No index.  What am I doing wrong.

It works for me. Try another route - OK, click on the EXPLORE button, wait just a second and a large drop down list comes down and it has Magazine Index on it. If it doesn't work the first time, double click.I'll send you the threadsmagazine page that has the index on it, but the explore one works.....at least it did twice in the last two minutes!Edited 1/21/2009 10:28 pm ET by starzoe

When I clicked on Explore, I can see a long list of things and index is one of them.  However if I try to move my cursor down to click on index, the page disappears.

Thank you, thank you.  I tried again this morning after restarting my computer and it worked.

Am glad you found the index. The site is not one of the most user-friendly to a non-expert, I found. It seems to have changed quite a bit in the recent past. Good luck with the index, you might find that you have to play around in it for a while to find what you want.
