I am planning a trip to Milan and Florence, Italy at the end of April and early May.  I would like suggestions about resources that would be interesting to me in my hobby of fine couture dressmaking and fine tailoring.  Fabrics, good buttons, closures, tailoring supplies, design inspiration, any suggestions on getting close to the really good stuff that is difficult to find in the US?  Also interested in shoemaking supplies, leather work.  All suggestions are welcome and appreciated.
