wool jersey

dotty | Posted in Fabric and Trim on

I was interested in the threads online extra about felting wool jersey. Has anyone tried this? I would imagine its thinner and more supple than other felted things. I googeled wool jersey and came up with bicycling gear. Under care it was claimed that cyclists could wear a wool jersy 6 times before it started to stink!!!! I certainly chuckled over that.

Ooooooo and who is game to test that theory?  Gamey idea!  Yeah, and a skunk smells itself first!  It must have some secret antibacterial in it then.  Why not?  Cows are injected with antibiotics, who knows what they put in our fibers!!!  lol

I knew someone out there would be amused! Are those cyclists nuts?
