This is my personal touch to pattern Simplicity Threads 4118. It is made with lightweight linen in bright vermillon. The roses I made using the How-To from an older issue of Threads magazine. Perfect pattern for a petite size – I’m just 5 feet.

This is lovely and sophisticated without overshadowing the summery dress. I like the colour and think you are very brave to wear such a confident "out there" colour but the finishing is so lovely why wouldn't everyone want to admire you handiwork.
