Claire’s raincoat was made with a two sided, rubberized raincoat fabric. The stripe is actually the reverse side to the red, so there is no lining. I did use two layers for the collar and lapels, so that the edges would be finished — managing the side that needed to show for each application. I used the double needle for perfect double rows of top stitching.

This is lovely & a real classic shape and colour - it will look good for years to come:)
Absolutely gorgeous. The basic coat is a total classic but it is the attention to detail to all of the various design elements that make it totally chic. I love the piping on the pockets and sleeves!
Very nice work, well done!
Love this coat. Beautiful work.
very nice! would like a coat like this. keep up the good work
Wonderful!!!!! I love the lining ...the contrast is striking! Terrific job!
Beautiful coat, loke the linig too.
i love this coat....great!!
Stunning! I love the details at pockets and cuffs!
Stunning. The lining looks fantastic against the red. Excellent work! I would definitely purchase a coat like this.
Professionally finished, great pick of fabric with the reversible side in stripe – makes for a nice finish. Love the details especially on the collar and sleeves. Not too much to make it busy – just enough detail to make it unique – striking & beautifully executed. I do have a question regarding the rain proffing fabric -- with all the detail and stiching does it keep out the rain?
