Chartreuse and light pink intermingle with several shades of blue to create a fanciful spring dress. The Simplicity shirt pattern #3750 was used to construct this dress. Length and a bit of width were added to the lower front and back pattern pieces to create a dress. A narrow ruffle was added around the neck line, and a triple ruffled underskirt was added under the dress. The edges of the ruffles were treated with a rolled hem on the serger. All the seams were sewn on the serger as well. The underskirt is not attached to the dress which allows the wearer to omit the underskirt for a different look. A large and a small flower brooch are attached to the bodice of the dress and hair. They were made from pink and chartreuse taffeta ribbon. The center stamen were made from glass beads.

I really, really love this dress. The color of the dress on the green grass background is stunning. The gathers, ruffles, brooch and hairpiece flowers finish it off, beautifully. Well done!
I like how you made the neckline and all the accessories you made for the dress.
