I have sewed for many years but I learned so much when sewing my daugher’s wedding gown.  There is much to learn about the inside of a garment.  She changed the design of the skirt and living on opposite coasts made it difficult to measure her.  I had her measure every 2 inches down from her waist with a marker and send me each measurement.  It worked and I had very few changes.  It was fun to make a silk pillow with silk organza flower for the ring bearer to carry.  She wore a similar flower for the reception.  The dress is pink and the guests in the hotel called her “the pink bride.”
