Jacket with machine needle felted and machine embroidered lapels and cuffs.
This is one of my favorite jackets. The technique I used for the lapels and cuffs was to machine needle felt some sheer stretch glittery fabric onto a backing of muslin and then I machine embroidered a simple design in gold metallic thread over the top. The result is very elegant and glittery; perfect for an evening out.
