This pincushion was made for an ASG challenge where we were given home dec sample books and challenged to make something out of the squares of fabric. Most of the squares were approximately 5 x 7, after removing the cardboard description borders. The pattern fit the small pieces of fabric and offered me an opportunity to try beading; a technique new to me after taking a class this spring. Because it is a pincushion, I limited the beads so that they would not interfere with sticking pins into the pincushion. The pattern is by Diane Ericson.
