I haven’t sewn in years and my daughter wanted to be a princess this Halloween. I searched the stores but did not find anything I liked. All the dresses looked cheaply made and lacked the puffiness I was looking for. So I decided to make her a dress, two days later I was done. I know she can’t wait until Halloween and I hope she learns how to sew one day. A part of motivation was that my mother made me a Halloween costume (20+ years ago) and I still have it. Maybe my daughter can play dress up in it when she gets a little taller.
