Here is a Misses Jumpsuit with front and back pleats, shaped front and back yoke.
On the whole yes it looks very much like the pattern picture although I did make some modifications. As I have back problems, and the fit of the jumpsuit is very loose, I decided not to have snaps down the back so instead of 2 halves I put the back yoke on the fold to have one complete back. I then added 2 buttons and of course buttonholes to each shoulder strap so that it would be easier to fasten. I also decided that the outer pocket was too much so only added the inner pocket which I think looks neater and not quite so fattening ha ha!! I also used a matching pink thread to overlock the seams with so that inside it looks lovely and professional.
The instructions were fairly easy to follow except for the leg band as I found that the notches and circles did not match and in the end had to work out the placement myself.
I used 100% Irish Linen in a lovely baby pink bought at Regency Rags.
I love how this feels and would definitely make the jumpsuit again but perhaps in a jersey. Also I would make the front yoke lower as it is high up on the neck and I prefer a lower neck line.
i like this one
Keep it up
