My grandson wanted to be a minion for Halloween. I could not find a ready made costume or pattern, so I decided to design one myself. I used heavy pellon and cut into 6 even pieces to get the dome affect at the top. Once I could get the shaping right, the rest was easy. I just cut yellow material the same shaped and added sleeves in the side seams. The pants were from an old pajama pattern I had.
