When I was presented with the opportunity to attend a Broadway play, my thoughts turned to my attire. I wanted to wear something dressy, yet accommodating to the Spring weather. I was inspired by a dress I had worn several years ago and enjoyed wearing. To create this dress, I began by draping muslin on my dress form. After creating all the sections to meet in princess seaming, I then used my muslin as a pattern to cut my dress out of black stretch satin for a super comfortable feeling. Once I had it all together, I attached 24″ length fringe to the bodice top and drop sleeves as well as the waist. A fun dress to wear!
