Not political in any way just that I liked the coat. I copied it for less than $100.00 with boiled wool boucle from Vogue Fabrics online, lined with some well aged hand painted silk from my stash and Silhouette Patterns 1350. I lengthened the pattern, made the overlap, and self drafted the collar. I even made my own shoulder pads. A very enjoyable project to get back into tailoring during the pandemic and winter lock down.
