Thinking spring and some relaxing ‘fabric doodling’ to give texture to the fabric. No set design. Just free motion sewing and using some of the sewing machine stitch patterns, along with the twin needle. Two colors in the needles. Added fold-over elastic binding to the necline for a little color change.

I love the blouse. I can't wait to run upstairs (where my sewing machine is) and try out your idea on some silky fabric I have. This technique would be beautiful on the hem of a skirt. Also fun would be placing the twin needle rows close together and completely texturizing a fabric, then cut pattern pieced out.I might also try various stitch designs and see what effect I would get on the satin
