Moulage class, a shameless plug, for those who are interested...

The Moulage, is from the Ecole Guerre-Lavigne system of pattern drafting, that I learned from my Paris-trained teacher. It is the foundation of this system, producing slopers to adjust commercial patterns, among other things.

After a series of measurements are taken, and calculations are done, we draft a patten that will fit like a second skin. I've never seen this method fail, from the draft for the 3 1/2-foot-tall gal, to the gal with the G-cup bust, to the gal with the 72" hips.

I'm teaching this at Sew Fast Sew Easy in Manhattan, starting July 20.  If you are interested, call them at (212) 268-4321.

If you want details, you can find my detailed review on patternreview.com, but the short take is this: every person in my class (and we had very different body shapes and fitting issues) had fun AND came away with a perfectly fitting bodice.
