70's/80's gold disco.
comments (0) October 14th, 2009 in sewing, design, garment construction, fabric, reader's closetThis is a very disco style costume I designed myself to be worn for Halloween 2009. The costume consists of 2 separate pieces of garment, a single piece very shiny liquid gold lame' long-sleeved bodysuit that looks just like a shirt when worn with pants/skirt/ect., and an exact matching pair of very shiny liquid gold lame' harem-style pants with an elastic design at the waist and elastic at the ankles (to prevent from tripping over). The fabric content of the bodysuit and the matching pants is 100% polyester, and the backing of the items is black in color and the backing both looks and feels satiny, soft, slippery and extremely silky. This would be a very wonderful costume to wear (if one could actually pull off the look, that is!)
