Self drafted slim jeans

This is a paif of slim jeans that I drafted from scratch using Winifred Aldrich’s pattern making book. I made quitea few alterations to the muslin to take them from baggy to skinny! I made them up in a somewhat stretchy denim (cotton/wool/elastane) with lovely gold tone. I hand stitched on a few appliques to make them personal. I love how they turned out – the journey was long, but totally worth it for a custom TNT jeans pattern and a pair of jeans! The journey is documented on my blog http://www.coutureacademic.com/my-projects/slim-jeans-draftalong-the-results-and-construction-tips/. This is the final post, but there are a few before it that detail the drafting and muslin fitting.
