I am developing my own designs (although there’s nothing new under the sun) for a tote. I have created about 4-5 iterations so far. Each time, I take copious notes and stop at the point I am ready to make a major change. I write notes in permanent marker directly on the “rejects.” I love everything I learn in the process.
Kurt Vonnegut once replied to a class of young students “Practice any art, no matter how well or badly…not to get money or fame, but to find out what’s inside you, to make your soul grow.”
Switched to ripstop fabric for lining to strengthen tote.
