This Italian design has an impressive fur collar that can cover the shoulders or can be popped up to keep your neck and ears toasty. The fit is average and the silhouette fairly straight. The one-piece sleeves are finished with cufflike bands and fur trim. Details include slanted inset welt pockets and a buckle and tab closure at the neckline. Our tester envisions it made from wool, the imposing collar from faux or recycled fur, the neckline tab and pocket welts from leather, and a quilted lining within. The pattern markings are minimal, but the essential match points are clear and the seamlines fit together well. As always with Marfy patterns, there are no hem or seam allowances and no instructions or illustrations. It is shown in wool melton, with faux fur trim.
(Sized European 42 in.-48 in. for busts 34.6 in.-39.4 in. and hips 36.2 in.-40.9 in.)
Style Tip: Use machine basting as a guide for the decorative hand stitching on the edges and cuffs.
