I am new to Threads and I am searching for help with, how do i know where to place appliques on the front of a t-shirt? My daughter is wanting a ARMY CUZ on front of a tee. Of course it’s individual letters and I’m worried about getting it straight too. I haven’t been able to find the answer on web. My daughter wanted camo material and I cut out the letters just not sure how to place. Thanks for any help.

It comes down to what pleases you (and your daughter). Above the bust and below the neckline seems like a good spot. There's only one placing I wouldn't use, and that is right across the points of the bust.
I don't know what that ARMY CUZ means, is it some sort of teen-speak?
Cut a piece of paper about the size of the logo, put the shirt onto your daughter and move the paper around until you find a spot you like. There are no rules.
