I will be spending a couple of weeks in Shanghai China, the beginning of July. Does anyone know where the garment district is? and what is the best place to purchase silks……not top end!! I look forward to hearing from anyone that has been in either Shanghai or Suzhou and appreciates quality fabrics. thanks dorothy

I spent a few weeks in China, and came across a very helpful little book (in Hong Kong) called Born to Shop Hong Kong, Shanghai & Beijing, Second Edition
by Suzy Gershman -She'll provide you with all the information you could possibly want..... and more. (She'll also tell you where to buy silks etc)
