I am ready to get rid of my old ironing board that has a bow in it. Can anyone suggest a good one, preferably less than $200.00?

I am still using the $20 Wal-mart one I bought years ago. Nothing fancy, just buy a new cover once a decade!

Years ago I bought the one advertised in Nancy's Notions. I believe its a Polder. It's very heavy duty, stable, and has a little shelf on top to rest the iron and a shelf underneath. It's chrome or steel or something like that. I feel it was a good investment. Other boards I have had were not as stable which contributed to the dropping and subsequent purchase of many new irons. I bought this and a Rowenta professional iron at the time and will probably have both forever. I am very happy with both purchases.
I do alterations for a living and personaly I like the good old sturdy ones. The kind you find at grandma's garage sale or a thrift store. They don't make 'em like they used to! Even the new expensive ones just arn't as sturdy. I bought mine eight years ago at a thrift store for $6 and It already had a small wood block under the end for me to clamp my swing arm lamp to (I love a lot of light). This is just my opinion from experience.
