I am starting a line of bras and panties and I need some samples sewn for a photoshoot.  I would do it myself but I am not quite good enough.  Please let me know if you are interested and name your price!

Who's going to do the production sewing on your line?  What you need is a sample sewer who will sew up your samples and write the production sheet for the production line.  Not dressmakers or home sewers.  Better yet, practice sewing and get good enough to do your own samples.  You will save money that can be put to better use building up your business.

Not trying to put a damper on your idea but I have worked as a sample maker for a designer who couldn't sew or draft patterns.  He had to hire it all done and lost so much money that he had to fold.  He never did get his business off the ground.

Go to a local fabric store or sewing machine store and ask for names.  They usually have a list of people willing to sew for others.
