Hi, the people on this site have been very helpful to me because they have introduced me to some really great websites that I might never have discovered. Not only do they answer questions but show me where I can find the answers myself. I'm sure you will learn and enjoy it here.

glad you could stop into the sewing room we all like to talk and have a good time and sit and have coffee and laugh and learn new and usefull ideas .today I was sewing a cushion for my rocker .
hey
howd the cushion cover go.......
well it doesn`t look bad at all the fabric that I used was very nice to work with and it went together very well it took me the whole day thats not right my husband spranged his ankle and he thinks I have to be at his side and fluff his pillow or get his ice pack .,and try to get other things done that is just not happening so it took a little time I use this as an escape from house work just to here from you all
hey guyz,
i was wondering if anyone of u know of a good site for embellishment......not teh usual thread work but something a little more experimental.
thanx
what kind of enbelasments are you refering to beads and bobbles or lace and ribon buckles and bows or feathers
actually i was thinkin of something a little more creative.....like washers and metal scraps.....sort of mixed media type......im bored of using the same standard thread and ribbon work for embellsihing.....since i design exclusively for my clients (as in one offs) i prefer to give them something unique everytime......hope ure husband gets well soon....:)
Sabah HI coins flatten out , how about pottery ,and wire and drill holes in hammered tin ,it only takes a little time and you can get that dimpled look and shape it any way that looks good to you and then you might try animal teeth or wood but when you are drilling make sure they are you drill straight down you then you could crochet it in your project or weave it in it was just a thought Merry Christmas - happy N ew Y ear
hey thanx....sounds like a great idea...i wil definetly try out these options...and will let u know how they turn out....infact ill try takin some pics to show u :) thanx again
