Hi all,
I have been “googling” madly to find a “how to” make the weird and wonderful shaped Balmain type shoulder pad. Some shoulders are pointy and slope upwards. Have not found anything that is professional enough.
Does anyone have any information on how to get this shoulder pad look. Does Threads have any articles on shoulder pad making?
waiting to hear from anyone….

I hope this comes out as a link when I post -- I never can tell since we can no longer preview prior to posting. If not, just copy the URL to the address box in your browser. There is a list of four articles about should pads along with the corresponding Threads issue number. I did not look at my magazines to see if these articles were actually relevant to your question, however, because of personal time constraints this morning.
Sewing Muse is a quick and easy reference for Threads readers.
Hope this is helpful. Incidentally, I like your website and have had it bookmarked for quite some time......
Thank you so much - I would have replied earlier but was waiting for an email alert. When I signed up with gatherings you had an option to be notified when you get replies. Is that still available?
No luck with the shoulder pads - may have to buy some foam and make it up myself.
thanks for visiting my website - I have had a lot of good comments/compliments, as well as unprecedented demand for sewing and patternmaking classes.
cheers
