Folks, our area’s annual Friends of the Library book sale is coming up September 7th and 8th. I would be glad to look for any books y’all might be interested in finding. Just a thought. There’s probably some I already have in my collection, but I didn’t want to pass up the opportunity. They sell them by the linear foot (one stacked on top the other). I don’t remember how much, but it’s really, really CHEAP. If you’re looking for something, just send me a reply and I’ll put it on my list of stuff to look for….D.

That's so kind of you, Donna. You are in the heart of heirloom country so I would like a book by Elizabeth Travis Johnson. It is called something like "Sewing Heirloom Clothing for Children". It is a fairly large book. Thanks,
solo
You're on my list!
oooo- thanks for the offer! i have too many books and have sworn off going to book sales, but there is one i am looking for that's out of print. it's not available anywhere on the internet and i have contacted the publisher with no reply. it's not very old, but must have had a very small press run:
Art Deco Hair: Hairstyles of the 1920s and 1930s by daniela turudich.
I'll add your request to my list!
DonnaKaye, Thank you so much for offering! I would like anything on tatting, Chinese knotting, or bobin lace. Beth
I've got you on my list!
Thanks!
