this latest mag. making a 3d version of yourself as advertised CANNOT FIND IT

    Hi Denise, Did you go to  TeachYourselftoSew.com ? I believe there's an article in the Magazine by that name as well.

    Basically you put on and old T-shirt and have a friend help you wrap yourself in some fancy Duct tape. You then cut that off including the T-shirt (cut up the centre back) and stuff the form.  It's a great idea and I think I'll use it to modify the mannequin/dressform I already have.

      yes but you need someone to help i think.  I have also been trying to buy a torso like the ones in stores, the new ones are very expensive  her in aust about 170.  dollars so was looking for a second hand one on ebay.  you pad them up to your size, but not sure if that would work as may be they are not firm enough.
