I purchased the Threads Archive magazines and downloaded a zip drive. However, I am not able to access the magazines after unzipping the file drive.
Has anybody been successful with this?

I am experiencing the same issue now. I am on a Mac, plenty of hard drive space, up to date on latest iOS.
I also use a Mac but I wouldn't think that is the problem.

Click on the folder 'assets' then 'issues' then each .pdf is there is each issue!

You could try going to the main folder where you unzipped and search for *.pdf
That will help you find your issues of Threads, then right click and choose properties to look for which folder the issues are stored in.
