Ultrasuede on knit pants

user-2287277 | Posted in Fashion & Design on

I’m trying to add ultrasuede knee and seat patches to a pair of equestrian riding tights but I lose a significant amount of stretch when I do so, especially in the seat. Should I use a larger pant size, or is there another way to apply these elements so that stretch is maintained. I’m using Polartec Hard Face Windpro fleece.
