Bit of an odd one for you guys, maybe you’ve seen this question in the past either on here or other forums.
Thread used for fly tying. This is a unique diameter thread that seems to be very hard to come by in bulk cones.
I’m looking for a multi-filament nylon thread in Tex No. 5-7… seems to be like hens teeth finding a manufacturer for this. It does exist however, I see it throughout the country in fly fishing shops etc.
If anyone would be interesting in chatting, I’ve got open ears.

Monofilament is a very situational “thread” for fly tying. It is used but, it’s not the same as multi-filament nylon which is what I’m after.
Holland Thread Company made pure silk dye thread. It's a beautiful thin yet strong thread. I understand it is use on fly rods. The colors are gorgeous. They have been out of business for years. I purchased mine at a flea market and use it on garments. It's a very fine thread and adds character to garments. The sheen is very visible.
