Twin-Needle Stitching 101

Twin needles seem like an esoteric notion to some sewers, but they can be used in decorative and innovative ways. For example, create curvy tunnels, sharply angled lines, or a combination of circles and lines to texturize almost any fabric and lend sculptural dimension to the most contemporary garment. Or topstitch a seam with a twin needle straddling it to make the seamline stand out. A twin needle takes your machine’s decorative stitches to a whole new level.
