This bag was designed by me and made from “found fabric” from a discount mill end fabric store and then the search for the lining (also used as trim) began. I managed to find it at a small retail fabric store. The button was in my stash, one of many bought at my local Bernina dealer’s retail store where a veritable treasure of buttons could be found. The Bernina dealer had bought out a defunct knitting retailer’s fantastic collection of buttons dating back to many many years. And thus became this bag!!!!!

Fun. Don't you love it when you can use those treasures you've stumbled upon?
You created a beautiful bag. It looks so professionally made.
This bag is fabulous! You did a very wonderful bag, I can see the love that you put into it. And as Josefly says: "Don't you love it when you can use those treasures you've stumbled upon?"
Sometimes we buy stuff and we don't know why we buy it, but then it all comes together in the end product. Thanks for sharing.
