this is a close up of the corsette/vest. I enjoyed making the flutter trim for the sleeves and waist.
My granddaughter wanted to be a fairy for Halloween, so I made her a more sophisticated, traditional one. I used a McCalls pattern as my starting point and allowed my creativity to let the costume reflect her personality. I used a combination of Christmas and Halloween fabrics and ribbons readily available at my local fabric store. Now she wears it constantly as her make believe dress-up wear.
